Western Canadian Crop Production Show

  • World Trade Centre Saskatoon 503 Ruth Street West Saskatoon, SK, S7J 0S6 Canada (map)

“The Western Canadian Crop Production Show began in Saskatoon in 1983 as an initiative by Prairieland's Michael Fleury to create a focused event for prairie grain producers. Its inaugural year surpassed expectations, immediately selling out the 40,000 sq ft venue, as its early-year timing proved ideal for farmers seeking solutions and businesses offering products for the upcoming seeding season.

The show quickly doubled in size, becoming a key forum for networking, market information, and exploring agricultural technology, continually evolving to address industry trends from diversification to precision farming. Its overwhelming success led to multiple major expansions of the Prairieland facilities, ultimately reaching over 200,000 sq ft of exhibition space, all of which is easily filled.

Beyond driving technological advances in the industry, the annual event generates significant economic benefits, contributing millions of dollars to the Saskatoon economy. It remains a flagship professional development event, positioning Saskatchewan as a leader in the agricultural sector.”
